Let me introduce myself…

My name is Amy and I live in the beautiful city of York.

I have studied many disciplines of Design and Business at York St John, followed on with my Masters degree at University of Leeds. During this journey I gained a great passion for creating in a sustainable way for the future. This passion led me to Rawhomeware, a business I created that allows us all to have the choice to live smarter and guilt free. Not only is it guilt free but you also have the benefit of customising your items to something that you will love. Allowing you more freedom to create a loving home that tells your own story.

We believe it’s important to start making smarter choices for the future that will impact generations to come. We are all aware we need to be kinder to our planet and only use what is necessary. We plan to make a difference by renovating and creating high quality furniture out of the old. This way we are reducing waste and protecting the planet without relying on even more natural materials.

Quality

We guarantee great quality with all our products. With our furniture we take great care in making sure they are renovated and fully fit for purpose for years to come. We repair and sand down all items to create a great finish, this can include exposure of the original wood or to give a lovely paint finish. When we renovate we feel its still important to keep the history and story of the piece. Some pieces may have small imperfections as expected for there age. All furniture comes with a complimentary pot of touch up paint to prolong its life and keeping looking beautiful.
